2DSaver is a 3DS homebrew app that allows initial setup to be skipped. This can be particularly helpful if your 3D slider is broken, or if your 2DS console is running downgraded firmware where initial setup does not account for a console with no 3D slider, preventing you from completing setup. 2DSaver works by running as boot.3dsx and using a modified configuration file for Luma3DS which sets the Title ID for title takeover to System Settings. This will then launch 2DSaver instead of initial setup; 2DSaver can then modify the ConfigNANDSavegame to skip initial setup.

Warning icon 2DSaver requires a modern CFW setup running boot9strap 1.2 or higher. If you are running an older CFW setup, first upgrade your setup before following these steps. If you do not have CFW installed you will need to install it with ntrboot.
