This method uses a flaw in the games Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, achieved by editing the save file for the game, to launch the Homebrew Launcher.
This is a list of alternative methods to install custom firmware. These are often used if the main guide cannot be used for some reason. These guides either require older system versions, access to certain games or applications, or secondary devices which already have custom firmware.


This method requires access to the Homebrew Launcher on one console. You can then use the cartridge in another console to launch the exploit.
