Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are role-playing video games for the Nintendo 3DS. They are part of the sixth generation of the Pokémon video game series.

Game-specific quirks

Region-free game

This game is region-free and does not have per-region builds or Title IDs. Updates for this game can be downloaded from any eShop region. However game cards are not region-free, so while the icon and banner may appear on the HOME Menu, a stock console cannot play an out-of-region game card. Set up custom firmware to play out-of-region game cards.

Basehaxx

This game can be used to install boot9strap, using A physical copy, and a second console with CFW. The exploit that uses this game is called Basehaxx.
