** "Icosa" systems used the older "Erista" SoC, which was less efficient than the "Mariko" SoC used in later Switches.

** "Icosa" systems manufactured after June 2018 cannot be hacked via software at this time (unless they run on versions 4.0.0-4.1.0 with the method Caffeine)

** "Iowa" systems feature a more efficient "Mariko" SOC, which allows them to run cooler and have a longer battery life

** "Iowa" systems cannot be hacked via software at this time.

* Switch Lite ("Hoag")

** The Switch Lite is a budget model without TV output, detachable joycons, and with several features removed.  

** The Switch Lite features the same "Mariko" SoC used in the "Iowa" model.

** The Switch Lite cannot be hacked via software at this time

* OLED model ("Aula")

** The Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) is identical to the "Iowa" systems, but features a larger OLED display, expanded internal storage, and an improved kickstand and improved speakers.

** The Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) cannot be hacked via software at this time.
