Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are role-playing video games for the Nintendo 3DS. They are part of the sixth generation of the Pokémon video game series.
Game-specific quirks
Region-free game
This game is region-free and does not have per-region builds or Title IDs. Updates for this game can be downloaded from any eShop region. However game cards are not region-free, so while the icon and banner may appear on the HOME Menu, a stock console cannot play an out-of-region game card. Set up custom firmware to play out-of-region game cards.
