CTGP Revolution is a modpack for Mario Kart Wii that adds 216 tracks (plus two hidden tracks), easy game modification with "My Stuff", and other features.

Installation

Info icon CTGP-R also provides official installation instructions on their website.
Warning icon For vWii do NOT select the Wii U guide on the CTGP-R site. Follow the standard Wii guide.

What you need

  • A working Mario Kart Wii disk.
  • A USB drive or SD Card
  • CTGP Revolution
    • If you are using a USB drive, use this version of the CTGP app instead

Section I - Prep Work

  1. Power off your device
  2. Insert your SD card into your computer
  3. Extract the downloaded .zip to the root of your SD card
  • If you are using a USB drive, delete ctgpr folder in the apps folder, and replace it with ctgpr_msc
  • your SD card should now look like this
  • Gnome-media-flash.svg (root)
    • Icons8 flat opened folder.svg apps
      • Icons8 flat opened folder.svg ctgpr (ctgpr_msc if using a USB drive)
        • Icons8 flat file.svg boot.dol
        • Icons8 flat file.svg icon.png

Section II - Installation

  1. Eject the SD card from your computer and put it back into your device
  2. Power on your device
  3. Launch CTGP-R from the list of homebrew
  4. Read the prompts shown on screen
  5. Wait for CTGP-R to install, this can take a while
  6. Choose if you want Automatic Updates & Verification for CTWW (Custom Tracks Worldwide) or not (Highly recommended you say "Yes")
  7. You should now be in the CTGP-R Menu
  • If you'd like easier access to CTGP-R in the future, press "Add CTGP-R Channel"
