Luma3DS can be installed as a bootloader instead of [[3DS:Boot9strap|boot9strap]] or [[3DS:Fastboot3DS|fastboot3ds]], but unless you exactly know what you're doing, you don't want it as it makes updating Luma more difficult and removes some troubleshooting options as it ignores <code>boot.firm</code> on the SD card root if it exists. On this page, you will find instructions for going back to boot9strap.
