Required Reading

GYTB (Give you this badge) is a homebrew app for the 3ds that allows you to get custom badges. GYTB only works on system firmwares 9.2 and above.

What You Need

  • GYTB
  • Access to the homebrew Launcher

Instructions

Section I - Prep Work

  1. Power off your device
  2. Insert your SD card into your computer
  3. Place the 3ds folder from the GYTB.zip onto the root of your SD card.
  • If you are using a Mac, hold the Option key while dragging the folders to the root of your SD card, then click “Merge”

Section II - Launching GYTB

  1. Open the Homebrew Launcher using any method
  2. Launch GYTB from the list of homebrew
  • If followed properly, you should see your badges flash on the screen, and be sent back to the home menu.
