The first release of GodMode9 was 0.2.0 on March 22, 2016.[1] Before this, Decrypt9WIP was the most popular tool for common tasks such as NAND backups.
With the 1.1.2 release on April 19, 2017, GodMode9 had reached almost complete feature parity with Decrypt9WIP.[2]
Version 1.2.7 on July 11, 2017 added scripting support.[3]
