Un custom firmware (lit. micrologiciel personnalisé en anglais), parfois CFW, est un firmware (micrologiciel) non-officiel développé pour des appareils. Malgré le nom, c'est le plus souvent un logiciel qui patche un firmware officiel pour y ajouter de nouvelles fonctionnalités, au lieu d'être entièrement nouveau.
Nintendo 3DS
Le CFW le plus souvent utilisé est Luma3DS. C'est aussi le seul encore en cours de développement en 2025.
D'autres ayant été souvent utilisés par le passé sont ReiNand, corbenik, CakesFW, et rxTools.
Wii U
La Wii U a un CFW dénommé Aroma.
Other CFW's for the Wii U that were used are Haxchi (and to extension, Coldboot Haxchi), Mocha, and Tiramisu.
Nintendo Switch
The most popular custom firmware currently is Atmosphère. Previous firmwares include Reisyukaku's ReiNX and a fork of Atmosphère called SX OS.
Atmosphère is currently the only actively maintained Switch CFW.
