En la Nintendo 3DS, los plugins para juegos son complementos que se ejecutan con juegos específicos. A menudo se pueden usar para:
- Usar códigos trampa predefinidos (p.ej. ultraSuMoFramework)
- Generar ítems o cambiar elementos del juego (p.ej. Vapecord)
- Asistir con el gameplay (p.ej. pokeCalcNTR)
- Create your own cheat codes (CTRPluginFramework blank plugin)
Plugins most commonly come in two formats: the 3GX format and the PLG format. PLG format plugins are generally older and may not work as expected on the latest firmware.
