Deleted or not ?

This template's doc contains an inexistent template visibly about this template being deprecated and replaced by Template:Clickable Button which does not exist either ? Should this mention be removed then ? Cominou (talk) 02:52, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

It's a leftover when it was copied from Wikipedia. I don't remember exactly why I chose this template over the other. ihaveahax (talk) 03:01, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

It seems it was already in process of deletion to be replaced by Clickable Button at the time. See Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion#Template:Clickable_button. The advantages of Clickable Button version 2 are described there, and they merged it so their current is our v2. Cominou (talk) 03:17, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
