FourthTube is a homebrew application for the Nintendo 3DS that allows you to watch YouTube videos. It is a fork of ThirdTube, a now broken app that did the same thing.

Warning icon As this app is still in the beta stage, you may and will encounter crashes and other bugs. If you find one of those, it would be helpful to open an issue on the GitHub repository.

Features

  • Multiple resolutions for New 3DS, up to 480p
    • Old 3DS consoles are limited to 144p only
  • Support for livestreams and premiered videos
  • Searching
  • Video suggestions
  • Comments
  • Captions
  • Local watch history and channel subscription
  • No ads
    • This is due to the app only using YouTube's API, and is not due to ad-blockers. The creator does not plan to add their own ads at this time.
