rverse

This guide or software is no longer functional due to the shutdown of online play for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. It is kept here for archival purposes. An update to rverse is planned to work with Pretendo Network

rverse is a Miiverse clone which aims to restore functionality for Miiverse on 3DS and Wii U. Due to the April 8th Nintendo Network shutdown, Nintendo is no longer issuing auth tokens to Miverse. As a result rverse is no longer functional, however an update is planned to be able to access rverse through the Pretendo Network.

Installation

3DSWii U

Universal-Updater

What you need

• A working internet connection
• Universal-Updater installed on your console

Instructions

1. Power on your console
2. Launch Universal-Updater
3. Select the magnifying glass on the bottom screen, then search for rverse
4. Press A while hovering over rverse from the list of homebrew
5. Choose rverse
6. Wait until the patch finishes installing
7. Close Universal-Updater
8. Power off your console
9. While holding SELECT, power on your console to enter the Luma3DS configuration menu
10. Turn on Enable game patching and Enable loading external FIRMs and modules if they are not already enabled
11. Press START to save and exit

Instructions

1. Download the latest release of rverse (the rverse-3ds.zip)
2. Copy the 3ds and luma folders from rverse-3ds.zip to the root of your SD card
3. Reinsert your SD card into your console
4. While holding SELECT, power on your console to enter the Luma3DS configuration menu
5. Turn on Enable game patching and Enable loading external FIRMs and modules if they are not already enabled
6. Press START to save and exit
