Switch:Uninstall CFW with no NAND backup

This process allows you to uninstall the custom firmware from your Switch without restoring a NAND backup. (needs confirmation)

Critical icon This process factory resets the console. Back up any data that you care about before following this guide!
Warning icon Disable AutoRCM if you have it enabled by following this guide.

Section I - Performing the System Wipe

  1. Put your Switch into RCM mode and inject the TegraExplorer.bin payload.
  2. Select SystemWipe.te.
  3. Confirm you want to wipe the SysMMC.
  4. Once the script finishes, press any button to return to the main menu.
  5. Select Power Off.
Info icon Your console's internal memory is now as close as possible to a clean, CFW-free state.

Section II - SD Card Cleanup

To ensure no traces of CFW remain on your SD card:

  1. Connect your SD card to your PC.
  2. Back up any folders containing media (e.g., /Nintendo/Album/) that you care about to your computer.
  3. Format the SD card to FAT32.
  4. Insert the SD card back into the Switch.
