3DSident is an application to view information about the software and hardware of the 3DS running it.

Features

Current kernel, FIRM and system version detection.
Display initial system version.
Model detection with code name and hardware info (Retail/Devboard/Debugger/Capture unit)
Displays screen type (TN/IPS).
Displays region.
Displays language.
Displays MAC address.
Displays serial.
Displays SDMC and NAND CID
Displays NNID username, principal ID, persistent ID, transferable base ID, country and timezone.
Displays device ID.
Displays soap ID.
Battery charging status.
AC Adapter connection status.
Battery percentage (actual battery percentage using mcu::HWC).
Displays battery voltage (estimated).
Displays battery temperature.
Displays MCU firmware.
SD detection.
Displays SD free and total storage capacity.
Displays CTR free and total storage capacity.
Displays TWL free and total storage capacity.
Displays TWL photo free and total storage capacity.
Displays number of titles installed on SD and NAND.

Displays volume slider state and percentage.

Installation

What You Need

Universal-Updater installed on your console

Instructions

Open the Universal-Updater application (the blue down arrow icon)
Use the D-Pad to navigate between applications and the A button to select an application
Use the Search to look for 3DSident
Under Available Downloads, select either 3DSident.cia or 3DSident.3dsx, then press A again to install it
- CIA files will appear on your HOME Menu in a gift box after you exit Universal-Updater
- 3DSX files will become available in the Homebrew Launcher application

FBI installed on your console

Instructions

You can scan one of the QR codes below to download and install the program using FBI. To do this, start FBI, then go to "Remote Install", then "Scan QR Code".

The latest release of 3DSident (the .cia file)

Instructions

Insert your SD card into your computer
Copy 3DSident.cia to the cias folder on your SD card
- Create the folder if it does not exist; it is for organization purposes
Insert your SD card into your console
Power on your console
Launch FBI
Navigate to SD -> cias
Press A while 3DSident.cia is selected, then select Install and delete CIA(s)
Wait for the process to complete
Exit FBI

What You Need

The latest release of 3DSident (the .3dsx file)

Instructions

Insert your SD card into your computer
Copy 3DSident.3dsx to the 3ds folder on your SD card
Insert your SD card into your console
Power on your console
