Cd backup is an app that lets you backup, restore or wipe your Wii message board data , this app could be useful if you have a mail brick on your Wii see more information about mail bricks at https://wii.hacks.guide/bricks#mail-brick
Requirements for cdbackup source
- An SD card formatted to fat 32
- A homebrewed Wii
- The app download it from here https://github.com/Naim2000/cdbackup/releases
Section 1: Downloading
- Extract cdbackup to the root of the SD card
Section 2: Installing
- Turn on your Wii and launch the homebrew channel then launch the app
- If you want backup your Wii message board data press a in the app
- The backup will be saved on the root of the SD card copy the file cdbackup.vff to somewhere safe
- If you want to restore a Wii mail backup, copy cdbackup.vff to the root of your SD card the press plus or y if your using a Wii classic controller
- If you want to delete your Wii message board data just hit - or x if your using a Wii classic controller this could be useful if your mail bricked
