uninstalling CFW without a NAND backup
Section I: Disable AutoRCM if you have it enabled by following this guide.
Section II: Performing the System Wipe
- Put your Switch into RCM mode and inject the TegraExplorer.bin payload.
- Select SystemWipe.te.
- Confirm you want to wipe the SysMMC.
- Once the script finishes, press any button to return to the main menu.
- Select Power Off.
| Your console is now as close as possible to a clean, CFW-free state. |
Section III: SD Card Cleanup
To ensure no CFW traces remain on your SD card:
- Connect your SD card to your PC.
- Back up any folders containing media (e.g., /Nintendo/Album/) that you care about.
- Format the SD card to FAT32.
- Insert the SD card back into the Switch.
