NetPass is a new way to experience StreetPass by connecting to other users online in virtual locations.
Installation
What you need
- A working internet connection
- Universal-Updater installed on your console
Instructions
- Power on your console
- Launch Universal-Updater
- Select the magnifying glass on the bottom screen, then search for NetPass
- Press A while hovering over NetPass from the list of homebrew
- Choose
netpass.ciato install to the HOME menu, ornetpass.3dsxto install to The Homebrew Launcher - Wait until the app finishes installing
- Exit Universal-Updater
You can scan one of the QR codes below to download and install the program using FBI. To do this, start FBI, then go to "Remote Install", then "Scan QR Code".

netpass.3dsx) - Copy
netpass.3dsxto the/3ds/folder on your SD card
Usage
- Launch NetPass from the HOME Menu or The Homebrew Launcher
- Wait for NetPass to finish loading
- Select a location from the list to start receiving StreetPass data
- Wait for all inboxes to show as "Done" then exit the application
- Check back periodically to see if you have revieved additional StreetPass
- You can change locations every 10 hours
