NetPass is a new way to experience StreetPass by connecting to other users online in virtual locations.

Installation

What you need

Instructions

  1. Power on your console
  2. Launch Universal Updater
  3. Select the magnifying glass on the bottom screen, then search for NetPass
  4. Press A while hovering over NetPass from the list of homebrew
  5. Choose netpass.cia to install to the HOME menu, or netpass.3dsx to install to homebrew launcher
  6. Wait until the app finishes installing
  7. Close Universal Updater

  • Download the latest release of NetPass(the netpass.3dsx)
  • Copy netpass.3dsx to the /3ds/ folder on your SD card

  • Download the latest release of NetPass (the netpass.cia)
  • Copy netpass.3dsx to the root of your SD card
  • install it using a CIA installer such as FBI.

Usage

  1. Launch NetPass from the HOME menu or the homebrew launcher
  2. Wait for it to load
  3. Select a location from the list to start receiving StreetPasses
  4. Wait for it to check inboxes then exit the application
    • Check back periodically to see if you got any more StreetPasses
    • You can change locations every 10 hours
