3DS:ERR

There are several kinds of errors that can appear on the 3DS.

Nintendo ErrDisp

The stock crash screens. These only occur on stock firmware or on old Luma3DS versions that don't have the custom ErrDisp.

Nintendo error code

The stock error codes. These occur both on stock and custom firmware, and Luma3DS does not replace or edit them.

Luma3DS ErrDisp

Shortcut:
3DS:ERRDISP

Luma3DS replaces the stock ErrDisp to show more information about an error.

Luma3DS exception screen

Shortcut:
3DS:EXCEPTION

Luma3DS adds a new crash handler for everything its version of ErrDisp does not handle.
