Wii U Region Change Guide

Requirements:

Isfshax this is a Requirement! Do not skip installing it!

Otp.bin from your nand backup

Downloads:

MLCRestorerDownloader get the right version for your os (Operating System) from the Releases tab

wafel_setup_mlc get the ipx file from the Releases tab

wafel_payloader get the ipx file from the Releases tab

SD setup:

Create a folder called wafel_install on the root of the SD card

Place the two .ipx files in the wiiu/ios_plugins folder.

Windows instructions:

Download 7-Zip if it is not already installed

Right-click the MLCRestorerDownloader zip file, select 7-Zip, and choose 'Extract to [file name]

Copy the otp.bin file to the newly created folder and open the MLCRestorerDownloader.exe

And now, choose the region you want to change to.

Wait for the process to finish, and when it finishes, open the output/MLC/[region you chose earlier] folder and copy the 52 folders to the wafel_install folder you created earlier.

Wipeing the MLC

Put the SD card into your console and power it on.

Your console should boot into minute. If it doesn't, reinstall isfshax.

Select the Backup and Restore option.

And select the Erase MLC option Than Delete scfm.img

Rebuilding the MLC

Go back to the main menu.

And Select Patch sd and boot IOS slc.

The light will start blinking blue. This indicates that the setup has started; wait for it to stop blinking and then turn it off.

Making sure that the setup went fine:

Reinsert the SD card into your computer, open the log file, and make sure that this error: FFFBFFEE doesn't exist

You are done!

To boot, turn the console on and select this option: Patch sd and boot IOS slc.
