Anemone3DS is a theme, splash screen, and badge installer. It supports downloading custom themes from Theme Plaza.

Features

  • Installing themes: Anemone3DS allows you to install custom themes to your HOME Menu.
  • Shuffle themes: You can also install multiple themes to shuffle each time the HOME Menu reboots.
  • Splash screens: You can install custom splash screens that display when you turn on your 3DS.
  • Installing and Dumping Badges: Anemone3DS allows you to install and dump badges, complete with support for multiple Badge Sets and shortcuts.
  • Theme browser: Anemone3DS features a browser to view and download themes and splashes from Theme Plaza.
  • QR code scanner: The 3DS camera can also be used to download themes and splashes by scanning QR codes.
  • Background music install: Themes can be installed without background music, or have the background music of one theme installed on a different theme.
  • Preview themes: Preview themes within the app to see how they will display on your console.

What You Need

  1. Open the Universal-Updater application (the blue down arrow icon)
  2. Use the D-Pad to navigate between applications and the A button to select an application
  3. Use the Search to look for Anemone3DS
  4. Under Available Downloads, select either Anemone3DS.cia or Anemone3DS.3dsx, then press A again to install it
    • CIA files will appear on your HOME Menu in a gift box after you exit Universal-Updater
    • 3DSX files will become available in the Homebrew Launcher application

What You Need

  • FBI installed on your console

Instructions

You can scan one of the QR codes below to download and install the program using FBI. To do this, start FBI, then go to "Remote Install", then "Scan QR Code".

  1. Insert your SD card into your computer
  2. Copy Anemone3DS.cia to the cias folder on your SD card
    • Create the folder if it does not exist; it is for organization purposes
  3. Insert your SD card into your console
  4. Power on your console
  5. Launch FBI
  6. Navigate to SD -> cias
  7. Press A while Anemone3DS.cia is selected, then select Install and delete CIA(s)
  8. Wait for the process to complete
  9. Exit FBI
