cdbackup is an app that lets you backup, restore, or wipe Wii Message Board data. This app could be useful if you have a mail brick on your console.

Requirements

A USB drive or SD Card

Instructions

Downloading

Extract cdbackup and put it in your apps folder on your SD card or USB drive
- The root of your SD Card should now look like this
  - (root)
    - apps
      cdbackup
      boot.dol
      
      icon.png
      
      meta.xml
Insert your SD card or USB drive into your Wii and launch cdbackup from the Homebrew Channel.

Usage

If you want backup your Wii Message Board data press A. The backup will be saved onto the root of the SD card, copy cdbackup.vff to somewhere safe on your computer.
If you want to restore a Wii Message Board backup, copy cdbackup.vff to the root of your SD card then press +, or Y if your using a Wii Classic Controller.
If you want to delete your Wii Message Board data, just press -, or X if your using a Wii Classic Controller. This could be useful if you are mail bricked.
