SaveGame Manager GX is a Save Manager for the Wii that lets you backup & restore your game saves & Miis.
Requirements
- A Wii
- A USB drive or SD Card
- SaveGame Manager GX
Instructions
- Extract SaveGame Manager GX to the
appsfolder on your SD Card - Insert your SD card and/or USB drive into your Wii and launch SaveGame Manager GX from the Homebrew Channel
Usage
- By default, you should be looking inside your SD Card/USB Drive. If not, it doesn't really matter.
Extracting Saves & Miis
- Press the SD Card/USB Drive icon on the top of the screen
- You should see a Drop Down menu like the image below

- If you want to extract game saves, press
wii - If you want to extract Mii's, press
mii
- If you want to extract game saves, press
- Now that you've chose what you want to extract, press on the save/Mii you want to extract
- Pick
Extract->Default->OK
| Your save has now been extracted! |
| If you get an error while extracting, go to the Nintendo Homebrew discord server and ask for help in English. |
Restoring Saves & Miis
- Press the SD Card/USB Drive icon on the top of the screen
- Go to where your Save or Mii is located
- click on your Save/Mii you want to install, then press
install->OK
| Your save has now been restored! |
