OOjs UI icon information-progressive.svg This application is only intended for use with the Wii U's vWii. This will not do anything on the Wii or Wii mini.

The WiiWare 43db patcher is a Wii homebrew application created by DarkMatterCore that patches the WiiWare 4:3 aspect ratio database (43DB) within vWii's System Menu U8 archive to stub its entries, effectively enabling access to 16:9 aspect ratio in WiiWare titles where 4:3 is otherwise enforced. The System Menu TMD isn't modified in this process. More info about the 43db can be found here.
