It was disclosed to the public in the end of 2018 on 3dbrew, and was fixed in system version 11.17.0-50 (May 22nd, 2023) by Nintendo.
While BannerBomb3 itself isn't capable of loading the Homebrew Launcher, it offers a menu called "BB3 multihax" where you can install unSAFE_MODE and menuhax67.
