This method applies to devices that were purchased from certain sellers on Amazon or AliExpress, usually "Ancient Moon Game Store". These devices come with a specially modified version of Luma3DS to hide all configuration and features. During attempts to set up homebrew, this causes problems, usually when attempting to run nimdsphax. This guide explains how to replace it with a standard boot9strap install. If you were sent this guide in the [https://discord.com/invite/MWxPgEp Nintendo Homebrew] Discord server with proper intent, do '''not''' follow any previous CFW installation method you were following (Skaterhax, SSLoth-Browser, etc.) and only remain on this guide.
This method only applies to users that have purchased a device from Ancient Moon Game Store (on Amazon or Aliexpress), which are sold with a stripped-down custom firmware on their devices.
