Checkpoint is a save manager for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch.
Features
- Exporting and importing saves, both 3DS and DS titles
- Modifying Play Coin count

Installation
Checkpoint is installed as part of Finalizing Setup on our custom firmware installation guide for Nintendo 3DS consoles. It is also on Universal-db for Nintendo 3DS.
If you do not already have Checkpoint from Finalizing Setup (or have a Nintendo Switch), the possible methods to install it are as follows:
- Power on your console
- Launch Universal-Updater from the HOME Menu, or from the Homebrew Launcher
- Select the magnifying glass on the bottom screen, then search for Checkpoint
- Press A while hovering over Checkpoint from the list of homebrew
- Choose
Checkpoint.ciato install to the HOME Menu, orCheckpoint.3dsxto install to the Homebrew Launcher - Wait until the app finishes installing
- Exit Universal-Updater
You can scan one of the QR codes below to download and install the program using FBI. To do this, start FBI, then go to "Remote Install", then "Scan QR Code".

3DSX (Homebrew Launcher)
- Download the latest Checkpoint.3dsx from the GitHub repository.
- Copy
Checkpoint.3dsxto the/3ds/folder on your SD card. - Open The Homebrew Launcher.
- Launch Checkpoint.
CIA (HOME Menu)
- Download the latest Checkpoint.cia from the GitHub repository.
- Install it using a CIA installer such as FBI.
- Unwrap the newly installed app on your HOME menu, and open it.
NRO (Homebrew Launcher)
- Download the latest Checkpoint.nro from the GitHub repository.
- Copy
Checkpoint.nroto the/switch/folder on your SD card. - Open The Homebrew Menu and launch Checkpoint.
