This page is causing a stir (on the Discord). Indeed, the main problem is that it implies custom firmware resides on the NAND, while its on the SD card, as far as I am concerned<br />
I am proposing this page to be renamed, and the objective be changed to the full reset of the consoel, as it seems it's what it amounts to in practice.<br />
Its probably the best way for this page to survive as-is.<br />

Moreover, we fail to see the usefulness of this tutorial, so to the creator of the page, please explain what is its purpose.<br />
